COUNTRY OF THE MONTH

Dulwich Literary Festival

The Dulwich Literary Festival returns from 6th – 13th November. We have a truly wonderful line-up of speakers & hope that there is something in the programme that catches your eye – whether it’s Natalie Haynes’s feminist retelling of the story of Troy or Emma Smith’s insightful & innovative take on Shakespeare. Or come along to listen to the brilliant novelists Louise Doughty (Apple Tree Yard) & Howard Jacobson (Booker Prize winner) talk about their work. For kids, we have a fun-filled event with the fabulous Konnie Huq. Finally, to close the Festival, we are honoured to have Jung Chang with us, speaking about the Soong sisters, three extraordinary women who helped shape twentieth-century China.

Tickets are still available for most events and can be booked online at www.dulwichliteraryfestival.co.uk, in person at the bookshop, or by phone on 020 8670 1920.
